Some buses and trains are highly occupated during certain times. To make sure that there is enough room it makes sense to register groups in advance.
Groups of 10 passengers and more (if you are using the "RufBus" or "AST" 6 passengers and more) have to be registered at the VSB-Customer Centre at least 5 working days (Monday - Friday) ahead.
When travelling by train the group has to be registered at least 10 working days (Monday – Friday) ahead.
Group travels which are taking place between Monday till Friday before 08:00 a.m. have to be registered at the Customer Centre mandatory.
The VSB-Customer Centre will check with the transport association if the required place is available and send you a group travel confirmation via mail, fax or e-mail. Please carry this confirmation with you during the trip and show it to the driving and control staff if needed! A transportation of a group is only possible within the available capacity. Unannounced groups can not entitle transportation during traffic bottlenecks.
The SingleDayTicket for a group can be paid upon boarding the bus, before departure at the ticket machines or the VSB-Customer Centre.
The "KlassenTicket" (ticket especially for school classes) can be paid upon boarding the bus, before departure at the VSB-Customer Centre or upon invoice. The purchase at a ticket machine is not possible! The payment method can be picked within the group registration.
Rebooking and Cancellation
If an registered group rebooks or cancels the trip before the group ticket has been issued, you have to pay a processing fee of 2.00 €. If cancellation is madelaterthan 3 workingdays (Mon-Fri)before departureor failsthe customercancellation,anexpense andhandling feeof 15,00Ã?????????Ã????????Ã???????Ã??????Ã?????Ã????Ã???Ã??Ã?Â¢?Ã?????????Ã????????Ã???????Ã??????Ã?????Ã????Ã???Ã??Ã?Â¬will be charged.If the cancellation is made later than 3 weekdays (Monday - Friday) before departure or if the customers fails the cancellation, an expense and handling fee of 15,00 € will be charged.
